Titto La Rocka & Lowwaxx present the High Heels EP – named after the pair’s shared appreciation for slipping into high heels on certain special occasions. The longtime friends, both originally from Gran Canaria, created “4-Hour Trip” during one spontaneous four-hour studio session, proving that good chemistry needs no extra time. Lowwaxx completes the originals with the smooth and hypnotic “White Pearl.” The package is rounded off by two distinctive remixes from Ukrainian minimal specialist Silat Beksi and label owner Gogo. A playful, deeply grooving journey connecting Gran Canaria, Switzerland and Ukraine – high heels optional, dancing highly recommended.
Lauren Steel is returning to the Tamango Records family! A year after her debut release, the London-based house rising force is back in the driver’s seat, presenting her new ‘Purple Haze’. Over the last couple of years, Lauren has emerged as a one to watch in the current European minimal-tech sound, rapidly becoming a favourite of Jamie Jones, East End Dubs, and Yaya, of course. Consisting of four originals, the EP radiates energy from the first second, with funky motifs and hooky vocals, plus Lauren’s recognisable bass-driven, funky, groovy approach giving life to a clear club-focused identity through direct, functional records shaped for the dancefloor.
Gammon has been on our radar since the early days, and over the years we’ve had the chance to watch his sound gradually take shape. After previously appearing on one of our compilations, he now returns with his first solo EP for the label.
Drawing inspiration from Romanian folk traditions and filtering them through his own sonic language, Gammon delivers a deeply personal release where old roots meet a modern approach.
Shaolin Cutz continues on its journey with a second series of releases comprising six instalments and a total of 21 tracks. The series is conceived as a progressive journey through different expressions of electronic music, with each release occupying its own space within a sequence defined by intensity, aesthetic and energy. From electro to minimal, micro house and house, each chapter explores different textures, rhythms and influences, whilst maintaining a common thread: music with character, designed for the dancefloor and crafted to transcend its own moment. More than just a collection of releases, this second cycle offers a journey. Six chapters, six perspectives and a single quest: to develop a language of its own – open and timeless – where each piece finds its place within the whole. With this second cycle, Shaolin Cutz continues to develop its own language: eclectic, timeless and deeply rooted in the underground.
Cristina Lazic lands on PVCLB with ‘Dance To The Beat’, taking her deeper minimal style and dipping her toes into a more housey, peak time territory. The EP keeps the groove and character of her productions intact, while opening things up for bigger dancefloors. Andrew Azara takes the track in a more driving direction with his remix, making the EP an all-round tool for any DJ.
