  2. Boy Next Door – Heron (Original Mix) 07:34 124bpm Dmaj

  5. Prismode, Solvane – Octopus (Original Mix) 07:12 121bpm Fmaj
  6. Thomas Gandey, Kiko – TX1 (Original Mix) 07:17 124bpm Gmaj

Fourth time around the block, the No Filler Just Killer get up plunges with an energetic and wide-ranging volume of dancefloor weapons from label veterans and newcomers alike.

Prismode & Solvanes Octopus begins with an exposed kick suspended by intricate melodic strings and spare percussion. Driving but deep, it bears a sense of mystery that is both captivating and fresh, leading on to Kiko and Thomas Gandeys TX1, which dives even further into an otherworldly realm. With Umami, Heerhorst continues to explore the darker and more introspective side of tech, while Boy Next Door takes us down the rabbit hole with the stamina-brimming dungeon techno track Heron. Bjorn Stoerig shifts up the mood with Mettetin, a steady groove-tech journey with subtle tribal flavours. Irish forerunner Ejeca rounds up the lot with Zatoria, an arpeggio-heavy masterpiece boasting a sultry bassline and floating chords.

VA - HYS001 Hayes

ARTIST VA
RELEASE TITLE HYS001
LABEL Hayes
CATALOG HYS001
GENRE Techno
QUALITY 320kbps CBR
RELEASE DATE 2018-04-09

4 TRACKS:

  1. Moddullar – Encrypt (Original Mix) 07:20 128bpm A#min
  2. Temudo – A1 (Original Mix) 06:26 130bpm Amin
  3. Temudo, Vil, -2 – Discordia (Original Mix) 05:58 129bpm Fmaj
  4. Vil – Szandor (Original Mix) 05:27 132bpm Amaj

Hayes is a new label from Portugal and it opens its account with this storming split release. First up is Temudo, who delivers “A1”, a gritty, acid-soaked loop that sounds like it was inspired by early Lost releases. Moddullar, who has put out EPs on Planet Rhythm and Dynamic Reflection, opts for a cleaner but still tough loop techno track with “Encrypt”, while on Temudo hooks up with ViL and -2. The fruits of their collaboration is “Discordia”, which again sees the release towards a slightly more abrasive and mysterious take on dance floor techno. Rounding off this impressive debut is ViL in solo mode, with the tough, percussive “Szandor”.
