  6. Transcode – Skynet (Original Mix) 07:41 125bpm D♯min

Up next on esteemed Berlin imprint Stil Vor Talent is a double header from two emerging talents. London base Frenchman Rafael Cerato who’s appeared previously on labels like Beatfreak, Baroque and Elatics. From the tunnelling and esoteric progressive house of “Darkclaw” with its world music influence taking you deep into the exotic, or the brooding dancefloor drama of “Guru” which nails that Stil Vor Talent vibe so well. Those Ry Cooder-ish guitars that come in are a splendid touch too. Over to Manchester based Transcode next, who serves up the hypnotic and transcendental groove of “Orbital” and the brooding tension and suspense of “Skynet” which is sure to cause some strobed-out moments on the dancefloor.

5 TRACKS:

  5. Luca Donzelli – Not Ordinary (Original Mix) 07:47 124bpm D♯min

For their sixth instalment, the Bad Klosterlausnitz based Muna Musik return with their biggest lineup yet boasting the current creme de la creme of house music from their own soil and beyond. Right heroes on here, such as Beste Modus boss Cinthie with the bumpin’ classic house journey “Hurt Me”, Frankfurt Rhein-Main legend Christian Burkhardt is also on top form with the trippy, latin infused minimal house of “Hola”. For something dead set on the main room at peak time, Spanish scene hero Hector Couto has you covered with his new school antics. The tough rolling groove of “Ciroco” really satisfies, as does the deep melodic tech house of Luca Donzelli’s “Not Ordinary”.
