Seven months have passed since the last stretch. Now, agglomerations of planets, stars, and entire galaxies are subjected again to gigantic forces, giving life to another volume of the ZODIAC CIRCUS. This time, six established artists have taken their spot in the firmament alongside six other rising talents, selected and voted on by our community, powered by Pacer and LabelRadar. It’s safe to say, what a journey.
While the skies in the east brightened and the last sunbeams lit the dancefloor, we realised summer isn’t over yet, and it’s time for Cameron Jack to take the driver’s seat with his ‘The Beat’ EP. The London producer has had a crazy rise over the last couple of years, not to mention a radio takeover for Circoloco and DC10 main room debut with Solid Grooves. Now, Cameron lands on La Zic with a fresh, bouncy original where tight drums meet a full-bodied bassline and Balearic energy for an irresistible, yet easy, trippy after-hours tool. On remix duty, Jeff Sorkowitz brings the gritty, bass-driven trademark sound that made him popular on labels like Take Notes, Deeperfect, and his own Short Circuit. Completing the package, Romania-born, now Barcelona-based Constratti returns to his homeland with a driving, dreamy version.
